TechConnect Low Interest Loan Program

Client: Illinois Assistive Technology Program

In 2003, MSF&W designed and developed the TechConnect Low Interest Loan Program site for the Illinois Assistive Technology Program. The TechConnect site allows individuals with disabilities to apply online for low interest loans to purchase assistive technology or telework equipment and enables IATP staff to review, approve, and report on loans requested and provided. The site, which is used primarily by individuals with physical, visual, and cognitive disabilities, is fully accessible, complying with the Illinois Web Accessibility Standards and the World Wide Web Consortium's requirements for Valid XHTML, CSS, and Web Content Accessibility Double-A Conformance. The user interface was carefully designed to simplify the complex and difficult loan application process using a step-by-step menu and a straightforward presentation of questions in logical groups.

In 2007, MSF&W enhanced the site for IATP, adding new features and making modifications needed to meet new Federal reporting requirements.
